About David Bowyer and the Offroad Centre...
Having sold Goodwinch Limited to Will Webster in April of 2018, Will moved the main winch business to Gunn, Nr Barnstaple. I (David Bowyer) am now fortunate enough to have nice workshops and stores to carry on with a small business to keep me occupied in my semi-retirement! I am keen to put my time to design, develope and manufacture Land Rover accessories using my many years experience both working and enjoying Green Laning in Land Rovers during the last 30 years. As you can see from the following pictures I have all the facilities I need to prototype and bring into life all manner of useful accessories for your Land Rover.

Looking back, its been a very busy time since driving my first Land Rover in 1960 to being named a Legend! The story includes owning multiple Land Rovers off all shapes and descriptions, Small Bore Rifle Shooting, marrying and having a family with Tina, playing with Shortwave Radio (gaining my license about five years ago with the call sign M1AEI), acting as Secretary for Land Rover Series One Club (the largest Land Rover Club in the world), founding Britains' first four wheel drive magazine Overlander 4x4, getting over one thousand Land Rover overs to converge on Battersea Park to sign a petition in support of Land Rover (handed in at number 10), founding Britain’s first Off-Road Driving School and creating Goodwinch Limited. For the full story please read Land Rover Legends feature, reproduced with the kind permission of Land Rover Monthly magazine.
